We used wood, as decided earlier, to create the push up board. We first sketched the dimensions of the handle bars and the shape and cut the wood accordingly. Then we created a latch mechanism by binding the corners and the centerpiece of the wood with a hinge.

Creating the BigE 5000
We initially brainstormed the product to possess a mechanism that has handle bars, a centerpiece in which the handle bars go in, and a fold in which we could prop up resistance bands.
We used materials like wood, cardboard, and PVC pipes to determine which would be the most convenient and hold the most weight.
Our prototype had the vision in mind, however after testing it with people who are of a bulkier, athletic, and regular stature, we concluded edits need to be made.

Based off of our testing and criticism from our tester, we decided to opt for wood for our final product instead of cardboard to make it sturdier. Since we decided wood would be better, we needed a new mechanism for the foldable resistance bands, and we figured that adding a block on top with hooks of some kind would be more beneficial. We also decided that the PVC pipes worked well, we just need to adjust the measurements to make them larger and add adhesive to make it even stronger. In general, we determined the ideal size and dimensions of the machine based off of our prototype, and came to the conclusion that removing the extra blocks on the side would not affect the function of the machine and make it more portable.
